Additionally, nighttime poses its own dangers as hostile mobs appear. To defend themselves, players can craft tools and weapons using the resources they collect.

Survival in One Block Survival also involves growing vegetables and obtaining food to avoid hunger. If the player gets hurt by enemies, they can eat food to restore their health. This can be done by accessing the inventory, selecting the food, and clicking the "Use" button.

To unlock new recipes and expand crafting options, players can build a workbench and an oven. By pressing the action button "A," they can access an extended crafting menu with a variety of survival recipes.
